My Husband Age 71, Is Taking Effient 10mg, Simvastatin 20

My husband age 71, is taking effient 10mg, simvastatin 20 mg, metroprolol tart 25 mg, for his heart. Tonite after taking the simvastatin and metroprolol he went to bed. About one hour after going to sleep he woke up to bad bad cramps in his left leg and right leg. He could not get up he fell on floor, my son came over and helped him up he is resting right now. Could one or both of these medicines cause cramps? I am going to call heart doctor in morning.
