My Husband Has COPD. Can This Cause Anxiety? He Hasn't

My husband has COPD. Can this cause anxiety? He hasn't slept for two days and nights and his doctor is unable to help him. He took 10 mg. of Paxil for years. His rheumatologist took him off the paxil and put him on 30 mg. of Cymbalta then raised the dosage to 60 mg. After 3 weeks he could no longer tolerate the Cymbalta and was gradually taken off. He began taking his Paxil again, but he can't really settle down. He constantly is moving and can't stay down or sleep. Any advice, is much appreciated.
