My Husband Has Autoimmune Hepatitis And Esophageal And Gastric Varices.

My husband has autoimmune hepatitis and esophageal and gastric varices. He has had banding done x 3 in the past with only one being done after bleeding episode. He began having black tarry stools last night with no bright red blood seen. I contacted his Gastro doc who will see him tomorrow with possible endoscopy being done. Tonight he has become very tired, sweating and flushed. His BP is 96/58 which is low for him and is heart which normally runs in the low 50's was 78. Do I need to take him to the ER or can he wait until appointment tomorrow?
