My husband has been prescribed Suboxone pills 8.2 mg. We purchased the generic brand which is over $200.00 for a two week supply. Out insurance co., United Health Care will only pay for the brand name Suboxone and not the generic. We are told that the manufacturer no longer makes the brand names for distribution. Is there another drug that in interchangeable that we might be able to afford. Our insurance coverage is already $1,288.00 monthly and we can't afford this medication at $400.00 per month.
