My Husband Is On Life Support. Yesterday The Stem In

My husband is on life support. Yesterday the stem in his brain was working, he was moving his head and had slight blinks of the eye. Today I was told that the EEG Does not show any brain waves. I was told he has fluid on his brain and swelling. I'm trying to figure out why the sudden change. He was initially admitted for a heart attack. His vital signs are all normal, but I was informed that after 5 seizures and a second EEG today that his brain is deteriorating. Although he is on life support the doctors have not given him anything to maintain the condition of his brain before the new EEG stated his brain is deteriorating.
