My Husband Went Through 5 Weeks Of Radiation 2 Years

My husband went through 5 weeks of radiation 2 years ago and just found out his PSA was up to 20 again. the doctor put him on Lupron injections again and is not doing any other testing. They knew from the beginning that the cancer might have been outside of his prostate thats why they chose not to remove it. Shouldnt they be looking at where it has gone? Why is his PSA elevated when they said it is dead because of the radiation he received. Should we be concerned where it is? And will the Lupron help?
