My Lips Went Dry After Swimming And Using A Chapstick Made Them Itchy, Red And Swollen. Is There Any Treatment ?

After i went swimming , i came home and showered . And after i showered , my face was soo dried and my lips felt chap . Then , everywhere around my lips and on my chin started itching . It stung too . And when i applied chapstick on my lips , i can feel tiny bumps around my lips but you cant see it . Its been really itchy , red , and swollen .

Hi Dear,
Welcome to HCM.
What you describe appears to be allergic reaction to something. If the itching doesn't go away after some time, you need to go to a doctor who will prescribe the medicines for it. We cannot prescribe medicines without examination.

Hi!,
Welcome To HealthcareMagic forum,

Its a sever sun burn reaction if you had a gone for swimming in the day time or early morning.This very common condition which we see after swimming .
You can use any mild steroid cream in combination with antibiotic over the lesion and also use a sun-blocking cream when you go out in sun.For itching you can take one cetrizine tablet daily.
