My Mom Has A Heartburn. She Smokes And She Is Overweight

My mom has been complaining of severe heartburn for some time now. She tried finding out what it was and thought it was a heart attack or something. Today she went to the hospital with my oldest brother. On her computer there was a google search for heart racing. She s in her 50s, a smoker, and overweight . Any idea what is wrong? I can t sit hear and not do anything... here* She s still there and when I called my brother he just said they were at the hospital.
