My Mom Has Severe Pain In Left Leg On Inner

My mom has severe pain in left leg on inner thigh and right leg behind knee. when she lays down it comes on suddenly. she is currently taking requip. it helps her sleep and quiet pain. But sometimes she wakesup in severe pain within an hour. Her vascular surgeon says it is not a clot. Could he have missed them? Could you please help us at least give other suggestions?
