My Mother Was Admitted To The Hospital 9 Days Ago.

My mother was admitted to the hospital 9 days ago. Just prior to that she had flu like symptoms. 2 CT scans of her head and an MRI of her head came back negative. They say she has an entrovirus and that it needs to run its course. She has little to no short term memory and is confused. 2 days ago I had the nurses use an ultrasound to check her bladder as she was going pee every 20 minutes. They said it was half full and suggested doing an internship out to empty it. When they tried to do this she screamed in pain. They did another urinalysis but again back negative? ?? Where is this pain coming from? What is causing it? I am scared. 2 weeks ago she was normal.
