yes you should go for a quick check up,it can be anything and better to cure it before only .

Blood in stools can be due to diverticulosis, hemorrhoids etc. I would advise you to get a colonoscopy done. If the symptoms worsen call your emergency number. Consult a gastroenterologist in this regard. I hope i have answered your query. Take care
