My Pulse Rate Is 112/min. Having A Severe Cold

i m sufferin frm severe cough and cold frm past 2-3 days...as a result my nose has become blocked and it leads to difficulty in breathin thru both nose and mouth...when i checked my pulse rate,it ws 112/min...is it common to happen...usually my pulse rate is between 65-75...pls help me out..
