Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son had surgery last Thursday for a removal of his ear tube. Apparently he had an ongoing infection and the pathology came back today with Achromabacterxylosoxidans. I was told I had to wait to hear back from the doctor to see what antibiotic he should begin taking. Is this serious. I am very worried and waiting back to hear. They told me that I would probably need to see an infectious disease doctor if they were not sure what to prescribe. Just hoping and praying it is nothing serious.
