My Son Is 5 Yrs Old, Had Cold Symptoms This

My son is 5 yrs old, had cold symptoms this morning with body aches. Ibuprofen helped him feel better through the day until he spiked a fever in the evening (100.6) after ibuprofen wore off. He's now experiencing numbness in his left pinky finger as well as fatigue with continued cold symptoms. Is the numbness something that sometimes will accompany a fever??
