My son recently caught a virus and was hit with a high fever four 4 days straight (40-41 degrees celcius). He had diarrhea and vomited twice. We’ve been giving him advil and tylenol and now he is on antibiotics because he also has two ear infections. In these four days he developed serious nasal congestion at night when he sleeps. He snores now and his breathing pauses. He also foams from his mouth in his sleep and sleeps with his eyes slightly opened. This never happened before and i am so worried about why he is suddenly struggling to breath in his sleep. What could this be and is it temporary because of the virus he caught?
