My Three Months Old Baby Has Been Farting A Lot

My three months old baby has been farting a lot and pooping frequently with each fart for the past 7 days. I have been changing on average 15 diapers a day mostly with very little poo on it. Her temperature has been normal, she had been feeding well and being very happy and has been gaining weight. I am however worried with the frequent pooping because it is causing a nappy rash. My Doctor prescribed Adco-Loperamide. However information on it indicates that it is not for infants under 2 years. Should I still give her the medication/
