You could be having an infection which is creating this problem. Do consult with an ENT Surgeon for proper diagnosis. Try to have warm semi-solid food if you cannot chew. Drink plenty of water and keep hydrated. If you have fever and pain you can take Paracetamol under medical supervision but do remember that an ENT Surgeon needs to see it before definite treatment is done.
Hi well come to HCM.
Since you are having pain as well its likely that you might have associatred infection.
clinical examination is must to see for enlargement of submandibular lymph node,
Sub lingual ulcers or any other oral infections . Headache could be in inrelations to
infection causing fever. You may try course of antibiotic with simple paracetamol and
if no relief can consult any oral surgeon.Feeling of swallen tongue may be due to dry
ness of tongue. thanks and take care
