Neck Darker Than Face. Using Witch Hazel, Apple Cider And Vinegar. Other Remedies?

Hi, My name is Shelly. My neck is like five shades darker than my face. Its not dirt, I ve tried scrubbing until my neck got terribly bruised. I just started using witch hazel and apple cider vinegar on it. Do have any suggestions of what might have caused this and any solutions to remedy it? I don t have enough money to get a check up.sg

Hi,
Thanks for your query.

Your problem is that of skin pigmentation.

First of all, you should stop using good remedies over the same. It might lead to increased pigmentation due to allergic reactions.

Some lightening agents have to be used in your case. I prefer to use milder agents to begin with. Something like kojic acid cream is useful in such cases.

Use a sunscreen regularly to prevent further pigmentation.

You can contact a local dermatologist in the problem still persist.
Hope it helps
