I have really bad pain in neck , frequent bad headaches that have made me sick to my stomach. i just had an MRI many mild to modeate bulging disks from c3-4 C4-5 and C5-6. I get that but c5-6 has almost complete efface meant of CSF anterior degenerative narrowing .. Osteophyte ridging scholiosis and on . Question why so much pain I have and it reads as only mild to moderate . I was in a major car accident a few months back a kid ran a light and totaled my car. Since then the headaches are daily. I go to my chiropractor but its worse not better. Thank u

Hi,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities.

The pain guide is based on a criteria, with mild being that the pain is just an annoying sensation disturbing you in your day to day life.
Moderate - is when the pain start interfering with your day to day activities
severe - is when the pain is so bad that you cant do anything, you are essentially disabled.

So I am assuming that you are managing to walk around and do what it is you do, just that its harder for you now. That is why you are in the moderate category.
Now the question is, what pain medication has your prescribed for you so far. If it is not strong enough, try asking for a stronger dose, as pain medication cant be given without a prescription. Also ask your chiropractor if he can teach you any simple exercises to help you.

I hope this answered your question.
