Neck Pain With Giddiness And Weak Feeling
hello, i am male 34 yrs ,since 3-4 days i am suffering withsevere neck pain with stiffness in the neck and twitching in the upper arms ,occ i feel giddiness and weak feeling ,plz i want safe cure for this .

hv u taken out an Xray cervical spine?
if not go in for that AP and lateral view.
u could be suffreing from cervical spondylysis
the twitching is because of this only, the nerve is getting compressed between the cervical vertebrae and hence twitching.
in some cases giddiness is also present
try out physiotherapy after proper diagnosis
do hot water fomentation to the neck
physio modality like traction is likely to give relief to arm twitching
ask your physio to show you neck isometrics
this will definitely help you

Definitly it is a neuro problem. You need regular physio therapy under an expert supervision. Prevent jerk especialy during traveling. So always use cervical coller belt during driving. Avoid pillow. Don't watch TV on lying down posture. Use Theridion 200 ( a homoeopathic medicine) 2 drops 3 times daily

If neck pain involves nerves (for example, significant muscle spasm pinching on a nerve or a slipped disk pressing on a nerve), you may feel numbness, tingling, or weakness in your arm, hand, or elsewhere.A common cause of neck pain is muscle strain or tension. Usually, everyday activities are to blame.
treat - pain relievers such as ibuprof. Apply heat or ice to the painful areaStop normal physical activity for the first few days.Have a partner gently massage the sore or painful areas.Try sleeping on a firm mattress without a pillow or with a special neck pillow.Use a soft neck collar for a short period of time to relieve discomfort.
consult orthopedician... if symptoms does not relieve within week.

Since the pain is only for 3 to 4 days it could due some positional muscle spasm with
pressure on nerve root.You can take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet market
preaertion like ZULU,DAN MR etc are available in combination take for 3 To 4 days and
if no relief get done Your X-ray cervical spine to rule out conditions like cervical rib
or some cranio vertebral anomaly. Giddiness could be partly due to some pressure on
vertebro basillar artery leading cerebellar insuffinciency leading to giddiness.Consult your
doctor and go as per your doctors advice. Thanks

The symptoms you mentioned clearly indicate it to of cervical sponylitis,a de-generative disease of the cervical or neck bones,but still a confirmatory x-ray can be useful to have the exact assessment of the affected area ,at this levels allopathy doctors prescribe some anti-inflammotory drugs with which you feel better,avoid elevating you neck at every occasion as it will bring about the giddiness spells ,use very flat pillow,else better avoid it.
