Need Advice On Patient S Health Status.

My dad is 79, diagnosed with a mass on lung and liver. He has waived all med care goofing forward. He is at home, pain free. He sleeps about 22 hours a day, eats very little. Today I noticed he is a bit jaundiced. He has lost heaps of weight too. Are we now talking days?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
As you mentioned that there is a mass in the LIVER & IN LUNG . The age of patient is 79 years and you noticed jaundice .
In my opinion primary mass or tumor was in lung ( probably ) and metastasis occurs i.e carcinoma spread form lungs to liver .
Diagnosis can be confirmed by M R I .
Further condition of patient depends upon the nature of disease and it is very difficult to say about the condition of patient without complete information.
Good luck.
