Need Advice On Precautions To Be Taken For A Pregnant Woman Diagnosed With Uterus TB

Dr. my wife is 21 yr old and has uterus TB. she is taking treatment since last four months of uterus TB. yesterday we got to know the she has conceived. her report has been confirmed by gynecologist. is it safe for baby? what precautions we should take now?

Hello sir and welcome.

There is a pregnancy regimen for every medication prescribed and used, and similarly there exists one for pregnant women. So I would recommend you discuss the pregnancy with her doctor and make changes in the regimen by initiating anti-tubercular medications that are advised during pregnancy.
