Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There are small structures called discs which are seen between small bones of the spine from neck through the lower back. You seem to be having these small discs jutting out of their normal position and extending to the anterior surface of the spinal cord. This can cause pain and numbness in the neck and upper limbs. It is important to discuss the amount of pressure that the discs are causing on the cord. Physiotherapy may help and you need to avoid intense physical activity for sometime.
