Need Explanation On Scan Report.

Respected Sir
I am now 7 month pregnant when i took scan in 5th month my placenta position was anterior gade 1 more to the right low lying and when i took scan yesterday that is 7th month my placenta position was anterior grade 2 i am very confused about it please say me whether it is danger or safe....

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Grading of placenta is dependent form its maturity.
grade II of placenta is when we see:
occasional basal calcification/hyper-echoic areas
may also have comma type densities at the chorionic plate.
In your gestational age grade 2 of placenta is very normal .
