Need Medication For The Symptoms Of Diverticulitis

I have a friend who has presented with symptoms of diverticulitis, has been hospitalized with low grade fever, been on massive doses of antibiotics, was checked for c diff and several other infectious diseases, began to get better and 3 days home has a blood pressure of 80/44, low grade temp and an inflamed uterus. They are now saying that preliminary blood work shows she is positive for STD but is not sexually active. What would now cause her to get that false positive and is it possible that salmonella from 4 years ago may have entered her blood stream and causing these infections?

GOING BY YOUR FRIEND'S CLINICAL HISTORY I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU THAT ITS NOT THE SALMONELLA INFECTION THAT IS CURRENTLY CAUSING HER HEALTH ISSUES.ITS HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR SUCH A REMOTE INFECTION TO FLARE UP.ITS VERY POSSIBLE TO HAVE SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTION INSPITE,OF YOUR FRIEND NOT BEING SEXUALLY ACTIVE CURRENTLY, AS FEW INFECTIONS CAN HAVE LONG LATENCY TO SHOW THEMSELVES UP- FOR EXAMPLE PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE/CHLAMYDIAL CERVICITIS .NOW SHE PRESENTED WITH A DISTINCT DISEASE ENTITY OF DIVERTICULITIS.THIS CAN QUITE BE ENOUGH TROUBLESOME.IT CAN CAUSE SEVERE SYSTEMIC UPSET WITH FEVER,CHILLS AND RIGORS,PAIN ABDOMEN,VOMITING.THIS CONDITION HAS TO BE AGGRESSIVELY TREATED WITH ANTIBIOTICS WITH INTENSIVE MONITORING.AS OF NOW SHE HAS RECEIVED EXCELLENT TREATMENT OF HER CONDITION.SHE MAY NEED SURGERY FOR A 2ND SUCH ATTACK IN FUTURE.
