Need Medication To Lower The Stress And Anxiety

My 19 year old son is taking physical for a job tomorrow. Part of this involves walking 3 miles on a treadmill.. He failed it before because his heart rate was 10 higher than allowed on their guidelines. Is there a something that can help him keep calm and not stress so much about not passing tomorrow?

HI
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Increase heart rate after treadmill is normal, but if it further increase due to underline anxiety or stress, in that he could do relaxation exercise inn form of JPMR or deep breathing. That would help to keep the heart rate in control and keep him in calm. Taking medicine would not be a ideal solution.

Thanks
