Need Medicine For Fever With Blue Colored Hands And Feet.

Ok we were out trick or treating today for 2 hours and my 10 month old was really bundled up but apparently not enough because when I got home his hands and feet were black and blue and ice cold. Now he has a fever, is that dangerous? He was shivering but had a warm bath and Tylenol and is asleep.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The child had exposed to the atmosphere ,and had fever,it is common, but becoming blue, and black feet may be common some times, but it is to be investigated.
I advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment. He may need to have E.C.G, echo etc.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms, cifixime, domperidone, and paracetamol.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
