Need To Take Deep Breath To Take Air After A Meal, Some Phlegm In Chest. What Could This Be ?

Hello. I am a 16 years old, 5'7 female who weighs 158lbs. For the past month or so I have had the need to take a deep breath to take in air after I eat a meal (usually after dinner) which will usually last the rest of the night. Since around Monday or so ive been feeling hot, and out of breath (like I need to take a deep breath to get enough air). I noticed that when I sit down I feel better whereas when im standing up I feel like I need to take deeper breaths. Im not coughing but when I do cough I notice that I do have some phlegm in my chest. I don't have trouble sleeping and when I lie down I don't have any trouble breathing.

What could this be ?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM,
In your case allergic asthmatic conditioned should be ruled out, looking to your history it can be said that it could be allergic bronchitis, after the meal the gastric contains pushes the diaphragm in up-ward direction and this causes the reducing lung space which already in spasm conditioned becomes more narrow, so the patients becomes hunger for air, better consult to some chest physician to rule out this possibility, Take care bye.
