Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
Good day.
Hypothyroidism is not the ony reason behind weight gain. In fact due to hypothyroidism, one gain only around 3-4 kilos. If you think your daughter's weight gain is out f proportion to her exercise/diet, then you may meet an endocrinologist to discuss about other horonal disorders. There are lot of hormonal disorders which can make one to gain weight.
The given thyroid function test is normal. TSH is a hormone secreted by pituitary and values can change depending on time of day etc. Both values of your daughter's TSH are in normal limits

Binu
