Need Treatment For Acne

I have been getting these pimple like large bumps on my face these past couple months. I have had acne for 6 years now and gone through cystic, sever, and other types of acne. I would say I have moderate acne right now with a lot of scarring, but lately these purple bumps keep showing up. I figured they were just raised scarring. My skin is kind of dry so they would get flakey, dead skin on them and I scratched them off and then a pool of blood would gush out. After the blood stopping coming out, I had a big indent to where the once raised scar was. I don t know what these are? Some times liquid like yellow puss comes out too. How can I help this?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne and acne scars on face, which occurs occur when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. you an go for antibiotics ( clindamycin ) , corticosteroid ointment , hydroquinone , laser therapy and dermabrasion for scars only after doctors prescription. Till now apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals.Also drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Do not scratch pimples as they will get infected , leave acne mark on face .
