Need Treatment For Afib

I had my second by-pass in 2011 and It left me living with afib, I can not get my Dr to understand how bad my afib is controling my life. There is days I can not walk, take a shower or do any activities. My heart is always racing too fast. I am searching for answers to help me to live a better life. The medications leaves me so sick and the afib is not getting any better. My Dr. keeps adding more medicines and the afib is not slowing down. I know I will always have afib, there s got to be a way to get this afib under control... I just need to find a doctor that will listen to my health issues and take this matter seriously.. Thanks!

Hi,

If your heart rate can't be controlled with medications, there is another option.
In this case they do an ablation to lower heart rate and put pacemaker.
So you can discuss the possibility of the procedure with your doctor.

Wish you good health
