Need Treatment For Blocked Middle Ear

Hi, I have a blocked middle year from past two years. I have shown to ENT Specialists and taken medications. But no change. What would be the next step or remedy for it. Also I am unable to pop the ear with alsalva manoeuvre. I am fearing the middle ear may be blocked permanently. Please advice.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

Regarding your query for treatment of blocked ear for last two years and not responding to medical treatment even by efforts of ENT doctor. As you said that you are unable to pop the ear with walsalva manoeuvre.

Since 2 years had been passed therefore my opinion is that you may consult your ENT doctor and GROMMET implantation on ear drum appears to be treatment of choice in your case. This is a minor operative proceedure and is performed under local anaesthesia. Usually the results are excillent.

Regards.
