Need Treatment For Cystic Acne.

hi i have grade 4 cystic acne i have cyst like formations on my jaw line and some forming on my cheeks i have bin taking Oral antibiotics and a gel but i realized that they have not gotten better its bin 3 weeks it seemed to be working i had less break out and less swelling in the cysts but it has bin 4 days now and m face is starting to swell and break out again. i have not mist 1 dose at all
another thing is i have bin washing with just water once a day since i started treatment but should i be washing with a soap or a scrub ?

Hello,

I can understand your great concern for cystic acne. Cystic acne are one of the most troublesome condition in acne.

Hopefully the best treatment for the same is the vitamin A derivative- Isotretinoin. It is the drug of choice for all the patients with cystic acne. You can meet a dermatologist and check it out that whether you can be prescribed with this medications.

You have not told us your age, sex and marital status so that we could have given you a tentative idea regarding the same.

There are no soaps or scrubs which can help you in this condition so take best of dermatological guidance.
