Need Treatment For Depression.

I have suffered from depression since I was a child. I have been on 2 different types of anti depression medicine for years, which has helped some but not much. I am so tired of being depressed and lately have been having thoughts that scare me but I really don t know where to turn and I m to ashamed to admit what I m going through. What do I do first to get the help I need? I do have a family dr. He does know about the depression and is treating me for it.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think, you have chronic depression. Sometime, patients do not get complete recovery even with medications. In that case, try to some life style modification technique like spend time with family member as much as possible, spend weekend outside home, relaxation exercise etc. That would help you to come out of depression.

Thanks
