I have an heat boil under my upper eyelid. Took medication (some eyedrops suggested by local doc) , also tried to heal the boil with wash cloth for several days. But unfortunately nothing seems to reduce the boil. Need some valuable suggestions , precautions & procedure to reduce the heat boil from my eye.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having a boil under the eyelid.
Boil is because of infection of glands of Zeiss and Moll of eyelids. It occurs because of rubbing of the eyes or exposure to dust, heat.... they are more commonly seen in uncorrected refractive error and in people with uncontrolled diabetes...
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and antiinflammatory drugs. Applying hot compression provides symptomatic relief.

Thank you
