Need Treatment For Knee Pain After Slipped Down From Steps.

I want to know that if my pain is unusually high for my situation. I slipped down some rv steps and landed with all my wait on my rite foot. After that I had pain in my rt. knee.I got 2 mris,and on the second was a lot worse. I have arthritis and a possible torn meniscus.I didn't have pain till I fell. I have asked for some opiods since over the counter does not work any more.My injury was 3 yrs. ago . They look at me as if I am crazy.I virtually have no cartilidge left either..My knee locks up when I walk which is painful and cracks and stiffens painfully at nite. They now want give me a brace and physical therapy.Is it too much to ask heck send me to pain management.
