Need Treatment For Palpitations, neck Pain, Headache And Fatigue With A History Of Respiratory Infection

two months ago I began with an upper respiratory infection. I temporarily lost my voice, but this resolved quickly. I then began having palpitations, anterior neck pain, headaches, fatigue. I took a full course of Augmentin, but once stopped, all symptoms continued again. Now I have palpitation that are intense, and wake me out of a sound sleep. My heart thumps all night, and I can tell it skips beats. My anterior neck will have an odd pain, and my left lymph node is swollen again. My sinuses are chronically infected it seems as well. The headache throbs, and the pain is moderate.

Hi,

A respiratory infection can alter the heart beat. It even causes the lymph node swelling. Once the condition is treated with antibiotic and eradicate the infection, symptoms also come to normal one.

If the symptoms still persist, then it may be infection is still there and proper antibiotic might not be given or it may be associated cardiac disease is there and that really needs to be ruled out.

Hope I answered your query
