Need Treatment For Throat Pain And Stomach Discomforts After Swallowing Rose Thorn

I know this May sound absolutely rediculious, but I think I swallowed a rose thorn. After buying a rose and heading out of walmart I needed to open my car door but my hands were full. So then I put the rose in my mouth, genious right? Once I arrived home I began I feel slight pain in my throat so I drank some water. Now about an hour later, I am feeling slight pain in my stomach. What should I do? Is this serious?

Hi.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your concerns.
Noted that you possibly swallowed a rose thorn.
I would advise you the following:
First of all check the stems of hte rose if at all anything is missing for any thorn; if not do not worry as the cause of the pain the throat and abdomen can be something else which we will discuss.
If no thorn is missing the most probable cause can be granular pharyngitis and GERD.
Take a PPI and an Antacid.
Consult an ENT or local examination of the throat for any signs of it or otherwise.
If the thorn is missing, take banana and be assured that this may just pass as the body envelops it with mucus .
