Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding common cold , pinching headache and severe off and on pain in the ear. After thinking about your symptoms and co-relating them with possible pathophysiology it appear that you are suffering from acute upper respiratory tract infection involving your nose , paranasal sinuses , throat and extending through eustachian tube (tubular connection between throat and ear) up to ear. Therefore you are having common cold , severe headache and pinching pain in both ears. Thus the possible diagnosis for your disease is acute rhinosinusitis with pharyngitis with acute otitis media . For getting relief you should take- 1- Tab Paracetamol. 2- Anti histaminic & decongestant. 3- Steam inhalation. 4- Warm saline gargling. 5- Antibiotic - Broad spectrum with anaerobic coverage.
