Nipples Tender, Vaginal Discharge, Pelvic Area Heavy. Menopause. Part Of Cervix Removed. Symptoms Related?
Hi, I have had my nipples extremely tender for the last 3 days, they are swollen, to the point that they hurt at the lighest touch. Last night I had a vaginal discharge, with a little bit of blood mixed with some clear fluid, odorless and my pelvic area felt "heavy". I am going through menopause. 16 months ago I had a surgery to remove part of my cervix, as I had fast growing cells. My last cell count in July was negative. Could these symptoms be related? Would this be a reason for my discomforts? Thanks for your reply. Ileana.
Hello, Your symptoms could be related to your a previous surgery. During menopause you may have occasional bleeding but it will rarely be associated watery discharge and heaviness. Bloody vaginal discharge, with a heavy sensation in the pelvis in a patient with a history of cervix being removed for rapidly growing cells might suggest a new growth or infection. Suggest that you meet your gynaecologist for a check up.
Take care
