OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
It is possible that the medication prescribed for the back pain may have caused some of the symptoms you are experiencing. Stress can alter the menstrual cycles. Anyway, you need to exclude pregnancy also. You need to get blood tests and a sonogram. Consult a gynecologist for further management. Good luck.

OBGYN Dr. Nilofer AR's  Response
hello,
Thanks for the query.

I first congratulate you for reducing those 30 pounds which in turn has regularized your menstrual cycle.
Your symptoms of frequency of micturation suggests UTI-urinary tract infection.
Get your urine microscopy, urine culture done.
If found to be positive, start on antibiotics depending on culture and sensitivity report.
Drink plenty of water.
Have citrus fruits rich in vitamin C.

Hope this helps,
regards,
Dr Nilofer
