No Periods Since Removal Of Fallopian Tube. How Long Will It Take To Get Periods Back?

Hi I am 33 years old.. I have a 4 year old girl. I recently went through an ectopic surgery and due to my left fallopian tube bursting I had to go for an emergency surgery for the removal of the tube. that had happened on 11/5/2012. I still have to not had my period since then. I would like to know how long it will take to get my period back. Also can I start trying gain from January, 2013?

Hi. You should have got your periods after surgey. Get your scan done once again.
Sometimes, there is intra uterine pregnancy as well along with ectopic or did your dr. do D & C after surgery. If no problem, take medicine for withdrawl bleeding and you can try again from jan. onwards.
Thanks.
