Non Smoker, Tightening Around Heart, Back And Chest Pain

I am 47 year old. non smoker. I have tightening around my heart , more on my side. but I get very sharp pains almost like its travelling up my back and chest .... I think if I was being electrocuted this is what it would feel like.... But the pain around the heart is consant...

We understand your concerns

Angina which we usually call for heart related pain may not last for more than 15 minutes and pain related to heart attack may not last for more than 20 mintes max. Both of the above might be accompanied with palpitation, sweating and nausea or radiating pain.

In your case, the trouble does not seem to heart related but stomach related. GERD or Reflux disease. But must consult a specialist like cardiologist / General Physician for being sure.
