Nonagenarian With Swelling And Fluid Leakage From Forearm. Bed Ridden With Hypothyroidism And Heart Conditions. Suggestions?
hi . my mom is around 90 years old , had a left sided stroke which is improving gradually. has hypertension, hypothyroidism,and congestive heart failure controlled with medication. she has been bed ridden for 1 month now. suddenly yesterday she developed severe swelling of right forearm and hand and mild swelling of the distal part of the arm. the swelling is not painful. the forearm is oozing clear fluid from one point. the hand feels colder than the other hand. no redness.

in my mind come to be small clot in the circulation of arm leading to swelling and clear fluid which is fluid of tissues oozed out through cloted affectedarea
