Nose Bleed With Headaches. Should I Be Concerned ?

Hi, I am have had my nose bleed couple of times in the last week. It is not like blood is gushing out and it stops soon. I had some headaches in the last few weeks. I am sixteen. I had swollen adenoid (sp?) and probably have minor allergy problem also. However, although I could not breath through my nose I have no irritation or such. Should I be concerned? Is this something serious? Please advise. Regards, JB

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi Kasturib,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum
I would recommend you to consult an ENT specialist at the earliest and get a nasal endoscopy done. There are various causes for nasal bleed, particularly in adolescent males. Use saline nasal drops 3-4 times/day till you consult your doctor.
