Nose Bleeding, Fever, Dry Nose. What Could Be This?

My sons had 3 nosebleeds in 24 hrs? He had a temperature fever last Saturday, and said his nose was dry this morning and hexwas picking it which set the first one off. He was ok all day then had another one after school, then we went shopping and he had another one, each lasting 5 mins, we gave him cold tissues and milk to drink. We think it may be dryness so have now wet a tissue with oil and wiped inside the nose.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello Friend
Welcome to H.C.M
I can suggest you that it could be due to either adenoid hyper trophy or Rhinitis . these are the conditions common in children and can lead to nasal bleeding and fever. get the X-Ray Nasopharynx done to rule out adenoid hypertrophy.accordingly the treatment can be started .
later you can consult the Specialist as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
With best wishes for a speedy cure
Yours sincerely
