Not Able To Conceive. Pain In Lower Abdomen. Pregnancy?

Hi, me and my husband was expecting, but we failed because after 5 days missed period, suddenly my period comes. but before this 2 weeks I had a continous tolerable pain on my lower right abdomen thinking that I could be pregnant and of course swollen breast and bloatedness. Its been awhile I had not get pregnant for 9 years, and I havent cleaned or did raspa yet. Im 38 years old and my husband is 47, can I still get pregnant?

Even though your status comes under elderly primi, where chances of getting pregnant reduces than that of a normal lady, I would not give up the idea of getting pregnant by chance as well. Many times one gets pregnant even though she might not be expecting it. It is only the matter of one sperm gliding and penetrating into the ovum making fertilization to loccur.

If I were your doctor, i would refer you to a gynaecologist to know if your period after a gap of 5 days was not a miscarriage, and the reason for it so that appropriate measures could be taken to prevent it.
