Noticed A Lump Growing In The Scar Tissue And Belly Button Area

I had a splenectomy 35 years ago and now sees to have lumps growing in the scar tissue and my belly button area. The one in the former seems to have grown larger in the past week and I see a tiny white pimple (for lack of a better word) on it. What do you think?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
If the swelling has a pimple on it , it may most probably be an abscess. Visit a Surgeon to confirm or rule out what this may be . as there is a remote possibility of development of hernia.
Discuss this with your Surgeon in detail and go for an ultrasound to see what this may be.
