Noticed A Yellow Jelly Over The White Of The Eye.What Could Be The Problem ?
I was mowing and my eye got irritated so I put some eye drops in...now there s a dime size sack of yellow jelly over the white of my eye. it s large and moves around, but it s under the first layer of my eye, so it s not coming out. at first i thought the white of my eye was swelling up.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having a yellow nodular swelling on the white part of the eye, conjunctiva. This can be because of degenerative condition of the conjunctiva called as pinguecula. It can become inflamed some tines causing pain and redness, treatment is by using antiinflammatory drugs. If it is recurrent it can be treated by surgical excision.
Thank you
