Noticed An Achy Sore Feeling In My Chest After Doing Exercise

I am 63yr woman who had heart attack 8 yrs ago. I am riding stationary bike for my excerise. have started to notice a different feeling in my chest left side achy sore feeling right after doing 30min with last 5 min faster. after cooling down its not there. Is this something I should worry about?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your problem and situation.
In my opinion we should first rule out cardiac cause for your symptoms.
You are having following points in favour of cardiac cause more.
1. Age more than 55 years.
2. Female gender
3. Previous history of heart attack.
4. Left sided chest Pain on exertion and relieved by rest.
So consult cardiologist and get done
1. ECG
2. 2d echo
3. Stress test (trade mill test)
4. Coronary angiography if required.
If all the above mentioned investigations are normal then no need to worry for cardiac cause.
You may have simple muscle pain due to exercise. So take painkiller and you will be alright.
